Jamie Bush is an official endorser of Dream Cymbals in the U.K. Jamie started playing the drums when he was fifteen years old. He bought his first drum kit that Christmas and learnt to play by smashing along to his parents' record collection at full volume. Jamie formed the band Tall Ships while at university back in 2008. They released their debut album 'Everything Touching' in 2012 and had good support from the BBC with an invitation to film a Radio One session at the legendary Maida Vale studios, as well as flying out to play both SXSW and CMJ in the states. Tall Ships have toured extensively, playing sold out shows across the U.K. and Europe, including London’s Scala, and have supported such bands as The National, We Are Scientists, Minus The Bear, Los Campesinos!, Nada Surf and Lonely The Brave, to name but a few. They were also picked to headline the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival in 2012, which was filmed and broadcasted on the BBC. 2017 will see Tall Ships release their long-awaited second album 'Impressions'. The video for the album’s first single, 'Meditations On Loss', currently has over 50,000 views and over 100,000 streams. So far this year, the band have sold out headline shows at London’s Omeara and The Louisiana in Bristol, and have embarked on a 12-date U.K. tour back in March.
