Joris Feiertag

Joris Feiertag is a Dutch drummer and producer based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Born in 1988, his vigour for the drums began 11 years later. In 2011 he graduated from the Conservatory in Amsterdam, where he received teachings from Ruben van Roon, Oscar Kraal, Erik Hoeke, Joost Kroon, and Jonas Filtenborg. Fresh from graduation his career led him to join Holland’s largest dance act: Kraak & Smaak, with whom he’s travelled across the world, starting in Istanbul, he travelled to America for SXSW, toured through to the west coast and will play at 2017’s Glastonbury in the UK. In similar vain, Feiertag’s career flew him to Japan alongside famous Dutch saxophone player Hans Dulfer, where they played in the beautiful Blue Note Café, in Tokyo.

He played during Pitch Festival, has played in the Paradiso in Amsterdam, and plays yearly at ADE. Working with a multitude of labels such as Boogie Angst, BMKLTSCH Records, and an EP soon to be released by DJ Sasha’s Last Night on Earth. Currently he’s immersed in his work, focusing on a new album, set for release in 2018.
