Mourning [A] BLKstar

I started playing locally at open mics in Cleveland Heights in 2013. Mostly to drink with friends and listen to music.

Started a sludge metal improvisational project with my friend John and would do 2 small sets a week. As my skills improved I started filling in for other drummers I knew, and eventually found myself in a number of projects. Following a really busy 2016, full of constant punk, alt rock and hip hop shows I joined Mourning [A] BLKstar. 6 months in we made buddies with the band Algiers and we've been touring a few times a year ever since, all the while playing with my alt rock gutter punks Birdog Cats, a project born from my open mic experience, and my collaborations with Fig, a singer songwriter, on her debut record. Bummed that covid cancelled my tour dates this year but I still have a lot of studio work and upcoming projects to share.
