Jonathan Smith is a drummer, beat maker, and music educator.

Jonathan is in-demand as a live drummer, currently in the midst of a stretch from September 2021 to April 2022 that includes six tours and performances across Canada, USA, and Europe.

Jonathan has performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, and Bunbury.

He is the drummer for Canadian artists Ariel Posen and Taylor Janzen, as well as several other groups in Winnipeg, MB.

When not touring, Jonathan stays busy with session work and teaching. A graduate of the Jazz Studies Program at Brandon University, his versatility across multiple genres makes him an asset in the studio. He has over ten years of experience as an educator, teaching lessons and giving clinics in the Winnipeg area.

Jonathan is also a beat maker and is in the midst of coproducing a debut EP of beats with Roman Clarke and Keiran Placatka.
