With over 25 years of performance and recording experience under his belt, Brian has put together a solid body of work with some of the finest musicians in Texas (Macon Greyson, Western Youth, Randy Reynolds, Graham Weber, These Mad Dogs Of Glory, etc). After graduating from Texas A&M University in '05, Brian spent a few years in the real world before auditioning and being accepted to Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA. A brief audition prior to enrollment however derailed his school aspirations and landed him on the road for the next three years with national touring band Macon Greyson. The group enjoyed moderate success and even landed their 2007 release "Black Light" in the Academy Award Nominated film "The Wrestler". Macon disbanded in 2010, allowing Bowe to relocate to Austin, Texas and start fresh. Since then he's toured the state of Texas, played and or produced seven records, and most recently showcased at SXSW '18 with his current band Western Youth. The group just wrapped up mastering their debut full length record, slated for a fall 2018 release.

"Since Justin Townes Earle is maverick country rocker Steve Earle's son, local six piece Western Youth are definitely the latter's spiritual heirs. Astride loose, twangy rockers like "Somewhere, Somehow" and "Falling Down," the group smolders with a Stonesy swagger under which resides Townes Van Zandt's bruised-heart genius that fueled the elder Earle's best work." – Tim Stegall, Austin Chronicle
