Since the age of 3, Stone has had a natural love and desire to play what he would call the “coolest dang instrument ever”.
Being born into a very gifted, musical family was no accident. Since he was just a few months old Stone has been on the road in some capacity or another. His Uncle instilled an early love for playing the drums, and as a drum instructor was careful to begin steering Stone down the path of becoming a working musician. That guidance paid off and for nearly 10 years (and counting) Stone has traveled the world and played behind some of the finest musicians, singers, actors and artists. From churches to banquet halls to theaters and arenas, Stone has carved out a place for himself as a top call for both recording sessions and live touring dates. He currently resides outside of Atlanta, GA and holds the drum chair in 3 of the world’s premiere gospel and Inspirational artists. (David Phelps, The Collingsworth Family, The Nelons). When not touring, he teaches a select number of private students and continues himself to study with various teachers with intentions of continuing to grow in his craft.
