Jamie Pompei

Drummer and technologist, Jamie Pompei's fierce passion for music performance makes them an in demand drummer.

Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, they picked up their first pair of sticks at age 8, began gigging professionally by the age of 12 and touring by the age of 14.

Since graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Business Management and a minor in Music Technology, they have quickly established themself as a versatile drummer live and in the studio.

On the day after graduating from Berklee, they embarked on a 6-week regional tour with their psychedelic math rock band Bat House, whom they have recorded a full-length album and an EP with.

Recent career highlights include performing on national television for CBS This Morning with Lily & Madeleine (New West Records), supporting Beck at The Anthem (DC) with Torres and Wye Oak at Brooklyn Steel with Torres (4AD), supporting Warpaint with Lady Pills, and supporting Elliot Sumner, Delicate Steve, Vundabar, and Palm with Bat House. Touring highlights include west coast, midwest, and southern support tours with Palehound (Polyvinyl) opening for Sylvan Esso, Sunflower Bean, and Pup, and east coast, midwest, and southern headline tours with Lily & Madeleine (New West Records) and Bat House. Major festival performances include Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Moogfest, SXSW, Northside Festival, Boston staple Fuzztival.

Currently, they are the touring drummer for Palehound for their upcoming album cycle in 2023 and drum for local Philadelphia artists.
