Jonathan Leonard
Independent Educator
Jon Leonard is a graduate of Mars Hill University and a percussion specialist in the Charlotte, NC area.
Jon has performed with the Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra, Asheville Lyric Opera, Theatre Charlotte, and various other theatre programs in central and Western North Carolina. As an educator, Jon has worked with many successful high school Programs in North Carolina. Currently, Jon serves as the Director of Percussion with Ardrey Kell High School and is an Instructor with Revelation Indoor Percussion. Jon has served as: Director of Percussion with North Buncombe High School, Assistant Director of Buncombe Beatz indoor percussion, Assistant Director of the Owen High School Indoor Percussion Program, Director of Percussion with West Lincoln High School, Director of Percussion with East Lincoln High School, and Battery Caption Head with the North Greenville Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Jon serves as a consultant with many marching, indoor, and concert percussion ensembles in North and South Carolina.
