He has contributed to albums such as "Alhumo," the debut studio release by Rodra; "Todos los lugares quedan lejos" by Pepe Delay; and "De los bordes" by Camila Ferrari. Diego's Career

Uruguayan drummer and producer Diego Morales, born in 1999, has been actively working with well-known artists from Uruguay since 2016. At the age of 18, he won two youth band competitions called Movida Joven with both of his bands at the time, which led to opportunities to perform at larger venues in the following years.

From rock bands like Filo and Rodra to pop acts such as Pepe Delay, as well as more instrumental and intimate projects like those of Camila Ferrari, Diego adapts to a wide range of genres and styles. He has performed at the last three editions of Cosquín Rock Uruguay (2024, 2025, and 2026), one of the country’s largest music festivals, attracting more than 35,000 attendees, where he shared the stage with artists such as Julieta Venegas, Miranda, Wos, and La Vela Puerca.

Over the past five years, Diego has produced and mixed more than ten records, earning awards including the Graffiti Awards and the National Music Award, two of the most prestigious recognitions for musicians in Uruguay. Since 2019, he has also worked as an engineer at Lulú Studio in Montevideo, where he records, mixes, and produces local artists.

"I choose Dream Cymbals because they offer a variety of sounds and textures that allow me to express myself through the kit. I’ve recorded everything with my current Dream setup, from heavy rock to soft instrumental music, and they deliver every time."
