Just like a good book, cymbals shouldn’t be thrown away after they’re well-loved. Discarding broken or unwanted cymbals just doesn’t feel right - and with Dream’s Recycling Program, you don’t have to. Bring them to an authorized Dream Recycling Center, or use our online form, and turn old cymbals into credit towards your next Dream Cymbals.
How It Works
Bring your broken or unwanted B20 or B8 alloy cymbals from any brand to a participating Dream Recycling Program Dealer.
Receive $1 per inch of cymbal diameter recycled towards your purchase of a new Dream Cymbal or Gong.
Example: Bring in two 20” cymbals = $40 Credit towards a new Dream Cymbal
With the recycled cymbals, we create new instruments like our Re-FX Crop Circles Re-FX Bells, and Crotales.

Instead of letting unwanted or broken cymbals go to waste, we give musicians the opportunity to give their past equipment a new life, while also giving them credit towards new Dream Cymbals. This not only supports our network of dealers and brings new customers to join the Dream family, but most importantly, it transforms potential waste into new sounds that we can enjoy.

FAQs
Can I recycle cymbals from other brands?
Yes! We accept B20 or B8 cymbals (no brass) from all brands—broken, cracked, or simply unwanted. If it's a cymbal, it's recyclable through our recycling program.
How is credit calculated? You earn $1 for every inch of cymbal you bring in.
Example:
A 20” cymbal = $20 credit
Two 18” cymbals = $36 total credit
This credit is applied toward the purchase of a new Dream Cymbal.
Can I ship my cymbals in if no local dealer exists?
Currently, the program is in-store only and must be redeemed through a participating Dream dealer. Shipping is not available at this time.
