About Jake Lynn

Jake Lynn is a dynamic touring / session drummer based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, playing Red Dirt music across the globe with Wyatt Flores.

Jake Lynn has made a name for himself in the Oklahoma music scene as a dynamic musician / song servant.

He began singing in Branson and across the country at the Opry at the age of six, and began drumming at age seven. He’s been playing shows around the world ever since. Jake is known for his ability to chop and move around the kit but never at the detriment of the song. Jake’s playing style and kit set up have set him a part in the world of Red Dirt. Playing open handed on an unorthodox set up with concert toms, bongos, and stacks, Jake brings a unique blend of world percussion loop style pocket playing that hasn’t been heard before within the genre.

Jake's Career

Jake has toured / performed live with the likes of John Fullbright, Hank Early (of the Turnpike Troubadours), Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Gavin DeGraw, Charles Wesley Godwin, The Castellows, Stoney Larue, Cody Canada (of Cross Canadian Ragweed), Isaac Hanson (of Hanson), George Porter Jr (of The Meters), and many others. Jake has worked in the studio with producing icon Shooter Jennings as well as many other recording projects coming out of the Oklahoma and Texas music scenes.

You can catch Jake touring the globe with Wyatt Flores of Red Dirt / Oklahoma music fame, and if he’s in between tours, at a music bar in Tulsa.
