Sean's Beginnings

Sean Bolden’s musical journey began long before he ever stepped into a studio or onto a stage—it started in the pews of a small church, where gospel rhythms stirred his soul and shaped his foundation. Raised in a deeply musical and faith-filled household, Sean was surrounded by the powerful sounds of gospel music from an early age. By the time he was old enough to hold drumsticks, he was already holding down the beat for his church’s praise team, developing a keen ear, natural groove, and spiritual connection to rhythm.

As he grew older, Sean’s passion for music expanded beyond the church walls. In high school, he began playing in a variety of local bands, exploring genres like funk, jazz, rock, and R&B. These experiences broadened his musical palette and deepened his versatility as a drummer. Whether in the garage with friends or on stage at school concerts, Sean brought the same heart and intensity that he had honed in gospel.

Sean's Career

His dedication to music led him to pursue formal studies in college, where he majored in music and immersed himself in both theory and performance. There, Sean not only refined his technical skills but also embraced the art of composition and collaboration. He played in jazz ensembles, marching bands, and studio sessions—further establishing himself as a dynamic and reliable musician.

After college, Sean Bolden transitioned into a professional career, bringing his rich musical background, technical expertise, and soulful touch to every stage and studio he stepped into. From gospel roots to genre-spanning performances, Sean’s journey reflects a lifelong commitment to rhythm, expression, and excellence.

"The best cymbals I've ever used. I've played many others, but they don't compare in my opinion."
