About Josue Ojeda

Josue Ojeda is a Mexican session drummer from Ensenada, Baja California, known for his work with leading Christian and Latin artists including Evan Craft, Majo & Dan, and Banda Horizonte.

Josue's Career

Born in Tijuana, Mexico in 1991 and raised in Ensenada, Baja California, Josue Ojeda began playing drums in church at the age of six, sparking a lifelong passion for music. He continued developing his craft through formal music studies beginning in 2006 and later trained with acclaimed drummer Álvaro López in 2009. That same year, he received an endorsement from Spaun Drums.

In 2015, Josue graduated from the Bethel Church BSSM program, further shaping his musical foundation and artistic vision. Two years later, he began his career as a session drummer, quickly becoming a sought-after player within the Christian and Latin music scenes.

Josue has performed and recorded with a wide range of notable artists, including Evan Craft, Majo & Dan, Majo Solís, Sarah Carpio, Día & Noche, and Victor Flores. His work with Banda Horizonte includes collaborations featuring Marcos Witt, Pedro Pablo Quintero, Encounter Worship, Louie Abrego (Un Corazón), and others.

With roots in the church, professional experience across major collaborations, and a passion for serving each song with intention, Josue Ojeda continues to establish himself as a dynamic and versatile drummer in the contemporary music landscape.
