Handcrafted from B20 bronze, the Dark Matter Vintage Bliss Ride begins its life as a Vintage Bliss cymbal—already known for its buttery feel, wide dynamic range, and organic wash. It then undergoes our Dark Matter process, a transformative multi-stage firing and aging treatment that gives the cymbal its signature dark and complex sonic palette. Featuring the signature Vintage Bliss profile, this 24” ride cymbal produces a warm wooden tick when played with the stick that never feels abrasive. A warm dry wash is created while riding that never overwhelms allowing you to control your sound through all dynamic levels. While suitable for playing jazz, soft rock and singer songwriter type gigs this cymbal also shines in the studio making it a favourite for engineers around the world.
